And in true Xmas fashion North Mountain’s Spiced Holiday Wine is back on the shelf. This easy drinking Gluhwein is lightly flavored with cinnamon, clove and allspice. We also have a new spiced Mead from Misty Mountain Meadworks: “Jack-‘o-Hive”. This wildflower honey wine is brewed with cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, allspice and ginger which impart a pleasant spiciness. There is no actual pumpkin in this just the traditional pumpkin pie spices.
Pinot Noir from Alaine De la Treille. This Loire Valley Pinot Noir is velvety smooth with notes of black cherry.
Alaine De La Treille’s Vouvray (Chenin Blanc) is back on the shelf to along with Ornato Pinot Grigio, Uvaggio’s Vermentino and Sauvignon Blanc from Le Jade. And we have these great little stocking stuffers-
“Merlayzyn” dried wine grapes from The Wine Rayzyn Co. These are raisins made from Merlot grapes that are picked at the peak of ripeness. They are sweet, tangy and full of antioxidants. They contain the seeds which give them a pleasant crunchiness and a nutty finish. They do not contain alcohol.
We are restocked on ceramic Virginia-shaped ornaments hand made by local potter Barbarah Robertson. This years batch comes embossed with a little heart with a Country Blue, Sea Green or Creamy White glaze. We also have a few in Harvest Gold embossed with a little honeycomb pattern.
Made from food safe silicone they are washable/reusable.
Also Kathy from The Edinburg Gap Llama Company dropped off some of her Lluxury Llama wool socks, insoles and blankets. They are all incredibly warm, soft and not itchy! The insoles are washable to. The socks come in small, medium, large and x-large. The insoles are available in medium, large and x-large.
