We have a few items to report-

First: We now carry CBD soaps and Bath Bombs as well as candles from The Little Flower Field of Rapidan, VA.

The Soaps and Bath Bombs are made with CBD infused Sweet Almond Oil and all natural essential oils. The Bath Bombs come in “Eucalyptus + Tea Tree”, “Lavender + Mint” and “Pink Grapefruit” scents. The soaps are lightly scented with pink grapefruit and rosemary essential oils.

The candles come in “Blood Orange”, “Forest”, “Green Tea Lemongrass”, “Himalayan Bamboo”, “Lavender” and (my favorite) “White Birch” scents. They all smell wonderful and they all smell like what their name describes! These candles are in simple yet elegant travelers tins w/ lids.

Also New: “Paper Jam” and Elderberry Juice from The Country Canner. “Paper Jam” is made with real coconut, coconut milk and a little vanilla. The Elderberry Juice is made with elderberries and local honey. It is lightly spiced with cinnamon and cloves.

We are also fully restocked on the many other jams and jellies from The Country Canner like Mango Jam, Spiced Pear Butter and Lavender Jelly.

We have some new, locally-sourced cheeses from Harvue Cheese of Berryville, VA. These come in “Garlic & Chives Cheddar”, “Ranch Cheddar” and “Tomato Peppercorn Cheddar”.

And if you need any houseplants these peculiar fellows (?) need a new home.

They are “Monstera” jade plants due to their leaves. I call them “Martian Fingers” because to me the leaves look like a Martian’s fingers. They are great for novice gardeners as they are very low maintenance and tolerant of neglect. All they need is bright diffuse to partial sunlight and a little water now and then. They require little or no fertilizer.

The smaller of the pair is $25. It is housed in a hand made (by moi) Midnight Blue, Stoneware pot.

It’s larger brother is $5 and is in just a simple terra cotta pot.

Almost forgot-

We will be CLOSED September 20-28 for a much needed, socially distanced vacation. The painting above is a hint as to were we will be staying.
